Yellowstone Then and Now

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, the Museum of the Mountain Man is pleased to host the exhibition Yellowstone, Then and Now from May 1, 2016 through October 31, 2016.

This display celebrates the history and beauty of Yellowstone National Park through the dual lens of yesterday’s antique memorabilia and today’s large format, black and white photographs.  Historically significant annotations, sprinkled liberally throughout the exhibit, offer viewers the opportunity to not only see Yellowstone’s wondrous landscape through the ages, but to also intellectually understand the evolution of cultural attitudes toward nature that have been and continue to be inspired by the preservation of America’s Wonderland.  Join us this summer to celebrate a major milestone in Yellowstone history with this enjoyable exhibition!
