Michael Bad Hand

Bad Hand is a Native American historian who has devoted his life to learning about, and reliving as closely as possible, early Native American culture. Over his 40+ year career, Bad Hand has worked to dispel many of the misconceptions, stereotypes, and historical inaccuracies of Native American culture. After decades of in-depth research, interviews and inspection of artifacts in museums, he has compiled an extensive research library and made re-creations of garments and accoutrements related to the lifestyle and livelihood of the seven major Plains Indians Native American tribes: Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Comanche, Crow, Hidatsa, Mandan, and Lakota.
