For more than 30 years, he has served on the Sublette County Historic Preservation Board and has been actively involved with the Sublette County Historical Society and the Museum of the Mountain Man as a volunteer, board member, president, and, since 2017, Executive Director. Clint has played a key role in launching the Rocky Mountain Fur Trade Journal, establishing the Sommers Homestead Living History Museum, and creating the Lander Trail New Fork Crossing Historical Park, helping to preserve and share our rich heritage.

Andrea Lewis – Curator

Born and raised in Laramie, Wyoming, Andrea spent many vacations in Sublette County backpacking, hiking, fishing, and camping with her family. She is the granddaughter of Maurice Faler, and great granddaughter of local pioneers, Vincent & Lillian Faler. She spent her youth participating in mountain men rendezvous with her family, and reading western history books with her grandfather, fostering her love of western history.

Andrea worked all over the country as a museum technician with the National Park Service, Department of the Navy, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and as the historian for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), before joining the Museum of the Mountain Man as the curator in 2019.

When not at work Andrea likes to spend time with her son traveling the world, snuggling her dog, reading (yes, more history), spending time outdoors, and working on various craft projects (her latest being quilting).

Andrea is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Masters of Arts degree in Museum Studies, the University of Wyoming with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Humanities and History with a minor in Museum Studies concentrating on Historic Preservation. She also holds an Associates of Arts in music from Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri, and is an Army veteran.

Mindy Seehafer – Accounting

Mindy Seehafer joined the Museum staff in April 2014 and has been an invaluable member of the team ever since. Born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, Mindy earned her accounting degree from the University of Wyoming before moving to Pinedale in 2000 after marrying her husband.

Prior to joining the Museum, Mindy had attended a few buffalo feasts and developed an appreciation for the Mountain Man culture and the traditions of living off the land. Her strong financial background has served the Museum well, as she oversees the organization’s financial operations, payroll, and gift shop merchandise.

Mindy and her husband are the proud parents of two children, and their family are hockey fanatics. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in Wyoming’s great outdoors. Whether hiking, camping, or paddleboarding, Mindy embraces every opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds her.

Kari DeWitt – Capital Campaign Consultant

Kari DeWitt serves as the Capital Campaign Consultant for the Museum of the Mountain Man, bringing more than two decades of experience in fundraising, public relations, marketing, and nonprofit leadership to the project.

Throughout her career, Kari has successfully led fundraising campaigns, developed strategic communications initiatives, and built strong relationships with donors, businesses, foundations, and community partners. Her expertise in storytelling, donor engagement, and campaign strategy helps organizations connect their missions with meaningful philanthropic support.

As Capital Campaign Consultant, Kari is helping guide efforts to secure the resources needed to strengthen and expand the Museum’s impact for future generations.

A Wyoming resident for many years, Kari is deeply committed to her community and believes that investing in cultural institutions enriches the lives of residents and visitors alike. When she is not working with nonprofit organizations, she enjoys travelling and being outdoors with her husband, three kids and their black lab Angus.

Angie Thomas – Publications

Angie Thomas joined the Museum of the Mountain Man staff in 2009. A native of Daniel, Wyoming, Angie worked at the Museum in person until 2017, when her family relocated to Texas. Although she moved away from Wyoming, she remained involved with the Museum by assisting with The Rocky Mountain Fur Trade Journal.

In 2025, Angie expanded her role and now works on a variety of projects, including website updates, blog content, e-newsletters, and publications. She also continues her work with the Journal, researching and locating historic images and illustrations to accompany articles.

Angie and her husband are the proud parents of two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, staying connected to her Wyoming roots, and spoiling her dog, Zeke. Though she now calls Texas home, she remains connected to Pinedale and the Museum community.
